Privacy Policy
Last updated March 6, 2024
This privacy notice for Dungeon Helper describes how and why we might collect, store, and use your information when you use our services.
1. Collected Information
Dungeon Helper collects no information about you, your computer, or your accounts. Information about your computer, the components of software you use, your accounts used while using our software, and other diagnostic data may appear in log files. Such information is not transmitted to us and exists only as a means for you to troubleshoot the software installation.
If you enable the functionality to do so via the “DH Crowd Source Collector” plugin, anonymized information about game content is collected when playing Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO). You may opt out of this data collection at any time by disabling the plugin. We cannot remove your data once collected as we have no way to identify the source of data once it is injested into our databases.
2. Sensitive personal Information
We do not collect or have access to any sensitive or personal information.
3. Third party information
Due to the nature of our software, information about your DDO account will pass through our software. This includes Account identifiers and character identifiers, but does not include any login information. No usernames and passwords are exposed to Dungeon Helper in any capacity.
4. How do we process your information?
If enabled through “DH Crowd Source Collector”, data is collected in an anonymized format and stored in the cloud. This information may include, but is not limited to, the server or shard being played, ingame location information, ingame data collection, and statistical data about time spent ingame. This information explicitly does NOT include any personally identifiable information such as account names, account IDs, character names, or character IDs.
5. Data Sharing
Since we have no sensitive or personal information, we have nothing to share.
Anonymized data collected via the “DH Crowd Source Collector” is used by Dungeon Helper for internal uses to provide additional products and services. Dungeon Helper and its creators may share this information with third parties as it sees fit.
6. Contact Information
If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may contact us in the following manners:
- By email: lord.morrikan@gmail.com
- Via Discord: https://discord.gg/bfMZnbz
7. Other
Pretty much everything else in a Privacy Policy applies to sensitive or personal information. And just to reiterate, we do not have any! So rather than finding more and more ways to say “not applicable”, this is the end of the document.
